Bonding knife Close

The Rindermarkt is being remodeled and the retailers who have moved to the Rosental, among other locations, are complaining about lower demand and a slump in sales. Although the new locations are in sight, very few people know exactly who has moved where. The Nahr company therefore called us for help: the aim was to use the concrete pillars in front of the store as advertising space. WENZEL was once again able to demonstrate its "one-stop shop" service and supplied the design, the adhesive film and the installation.

Using limited advertising space creatively

The Nahr company, known primarily for its exclusive knives, is one of the retailers from Rindermarkt that has suffered as a result of having to relocate due to the renovation. "Around 40 percent less turnover," reported Ms. Tanzer, owner of the 110-year-old business. "The new location is a disaster. But we have to make the best of it". And that meant using the few available advertising spaces creatively. Specifically, two concrete pillars rise up directly in front of the store, which made an excellent XXL advertising space. Razor-sharp design and razor-sharp printing

In the first step, we supplied the design for the adhesive. It shows knives in XXXL, which are intended to catch the eye. Even from a distance, customers can see what the store is about and where it is located.

After receiving approval from Ms. Tanzer, we started printing. We chose an extremely resistant outdoor adhesive film as the material Brickwall. It is characterized by high adhesive strength even on irregular surfaces (e.g. roughcast) and withstands wind and weather for a long time. Nevertheless, it can be removed quickly and easily if necessary. The ideal material for the Nahr company.

Precise and fast assembly

Once a date had been found, our installation team set off and fitted the concrete columns with the Brickwall foils. As always, our colleagues paid attention to both precision and the clock. After around one to one and a half hours, all the foils were in place.

Visual eye-catcher made of Alu Dibond

As an eye-catcher, Ms. Tanzer did not miss the opportunity to place an oversized knife in the entrance area, this mail made of aluminum dibond. "It stands out, arouses curiosity and is sure to bring one or two people in from outside," she says. We wish her all the best and hope that she and her colleagues survive their time in "exile" well.
