WHO WE ARE:

WENZEL is a family company in the printing industry that has been established in Munich since 1969.
A committed, motivated team of around 65 employees looks forward to well-known customers from Munich, Germany and all over the world.
We can print anything from A-Z: stickers, banners, signs, signs, brochures, leaflets, business cards, flyers, blueprints, posters and much more.
In addition to our print products, we also offer scanning solutions, digitization and on-site signage and labelling.
We are also a partner of Deutsche Post at our main locations.

PHILOSOPHY:
"Can't do it, doesn't exist"  is our motto, with a lot of fun at work we want to meet the highest standards and hereby set ourselves apart.
Only when you are absolutely satisfied are we too.

Small historical overview

1969: Gunter Wenzel founds the WENZEL company at the age of 26. The company started with what was then an outrageously expensive blueprint machine for 800 Deutschmarks. What was initially planned as a side income quickly becomes the main source of income. Gunter Wenzel is supported by his wife Marion, whom he marries in the same year. Son Matthias was also born in 1969. Marion Wenzel combines family and work - and takes orders with the baby carriage.

1972: The Summer Olympic Games take place in Munich. The construction of the sports facilities and the associated need for copies of plans help the still young company WENZEL to achieve a breakthrough. The first branch is built in the north of Munich to offer customers short delivery routes.

1983 Gunter Wenzel founds the subsidiary “Kopierzentrum Passau GmbH” with the XLPRINT24 department. Specialties are large format printing and advertising technology. A subsidiary is also added in Munich: Hansa Print Service.

1985: WENZEL invests in one of the first color copiers. Customers and interrested passers-by line the street.

1991: Son Matthias Wenzel joins the company during and after finishing his training as a bank clerk.

1999: Anke Wenzel, Matthias Wenzel's wife, joins the company with a focus on accounting. Thus, all Wenzels are employed in the family business.

2000: Matthias becomes a member of the management board and has been managing the company together with his father Gunter ever since.

2001: The Internet is finally beginning its triumphal march through the world. WENZEL invests in infrastructure (at that time ISDN) and equipment for digitizing plans. The scanning department is an important mainstay today.

2008: WENZEL is open to new ideas and tries out the printed beer table . The printing ink is applied directly on the wooden surface.

2009: 40th anniversarry of the WENZEL company. They now employ almost 100 workers.

2009 - 2012: WENZEL invests in large format printers and a milling machine and serves the demand for sign printing und photo printing on high quality materials such as acryllic glass or Alu Dibond. The funding always results from own resources. In 2012 the website  was relaunched, and even then WENZEL paid attention to a mobile-friendly  design. The online shop created in 2001 gets a new redesign.

2013: WENZEL invests in a laser machine and expands its range to include laser engraving and laser punching.

2014: The high-performance Colorwave printer is an investment in the high five-digit range. WENZEL offers an even better plotting service am low prices for lower print runs.

2016: The family company expands its machine park with the mega scanner "Hornet“. This allows templates up to a size of 2x DIN A0 to be scanned without contact, including paintings framed behind glassy yellowed maps, books, sealed folders etc. In the following year, the scanner "Bee“ was added, which digitized slides at high speed. 

2017: WENZEL relaunches its website and bundles its extremely broad portfolio in a clear and user-friendly way.

2019: The purchase of the Canon Colorado printer with UV gel ink for high quality artworks, adhesive films, canvas and poster prints.

2020: WENZEL defies the pandemic and produces large quantities of acrlyics sneeze guards in special sizes and other Covid 19 protective items.

2021: The company stands for innovation and quality and is the first in Bavaria to invest in the latest, environmentally driendly printing technology during the pandemic: HP Indigo 7K produktion printer
