What is signaling?

For the most part, signage serves as an orientation system to guide, direct or orient people.
It refers to the design, implementation and use of signs and guidance systems.
It is a measure that deals with the development of effective signage solutions.
Signage includes various elements, such as: Directional signs, pictograms, emergency exit and escape route signage, information boards, restroom signs, parking signs, pedestrian guidance systems and much more.
Signage is often also closely linked to the brand identity (corporate design) of companies or organizations, as it provides the opportunity to convey a consistent image and message.

Signage plays an important role in architecture, psychology, ergonomics and communication.
It requires careful planning and design to ensure that signage is clear, highly visible, easy to understand and appropriate to the needs of users.
